Arabic Theme

Hi friends and readers!
If you're new here, welcome to my blog! I hope you're all in great spirits today!

In this post, I’m finally going to talk about the inspiration behind my Arabic Theme collection. I know this was supposed to be posted right after the launch, but life had other plans, and here we are, nearing the end of the year! Better late than never, right?

Before diving into the theme, I want to give you a quick update on what’s been going on in my life recently.

I’ve just moved out from the place where I started my art journey. My family has gone through some tough times, which led to the decision to move. Now, I’m juggling caring for my grandma while still hustling to grow my small business. As if that wasn’t enough, last week, my neighborhood got hit by a sudden flood—something that’s never happened here before. Thankfully, everything turned out fine, and I’m still praying for the best moving forward.

Back to our main topic:

Where did I get the inspiration for this Arabic Theme?

It all started with my deep dive into Arab culture. I was curious about their rich history, daily life, and especially their connection to nature—fruits and plants, in particular. While researching, I came across these beautiful Qur’an verses that spoke to me, and they inspired the designs for this theme.

99  "And it is He who sends down water from the sky. With it We produce vegetation of all kinds, from which We bring greenery, from which We produce grains in clusters. And palm-trees with hanging clusters, and vineyards, and olives, and pomegranates—similar and dissimilar. Watch their fruits as they grow and ripen. Surely in this are signs for people who believe."

Al-an'am 6 : 99

141  "It is He who produces gardens, both cultivated and wild, and date-palms, and crops of diverse tastes, and olives and pomegranates, similar and dissimilar. Eat of its fruit when it yields, and give its due on the day of its harvest, and do not waste. He does not love the wasteful."

Al-an'am 6 : 141

68  In them are fruits, and date-palms, and pomegranates.

Ar-Rahman 55:68

These verses remind me of the beauty and diversity of nature, which is a huge part of Arab culture, and they’ve deeply inspired the colors, patterns, and elements you’ll see in this collection.
